Common questions
- How do I get started with Agila? — Explore the live demo, watch the product videos on Learn more, or deploy the self-hosted edition from GitHub. Hosted Basic and Pro plans are available from Pricing.
- Is there a live demo? — Yes. Use Try the live demo from the site, or try the interactive board preview on the homepage. The live demo is best on desktop.
- What’s the difference between self-hosted and cloud? — Self-hosted is free and open source — you run Agila on your own infrastructure. Cloud (Basic / Pro) is managed for you on agila.dev — buy a hosted plan from Pricing.
- Is the self-hosted edition limited? — No. The GitHub edition includes Agila’s full feature set — it isn’t a cut-down product. Hosted plans are for teams that want us to run and operate the instance for them.
- Where does my data live? — If you self-host, your data stays on your infrastructure. On a hosted plan, your instance data is stored in our cloud environment for that deployment.
- Do you have a native mobile app? — Not yet. Agila works in the mobile browser as a responsive web app. A native mobile app is not available today.
- Does Agila support SSO? — Yes — Google, GitHub, and Microsoft 365 sign-in are supported (you bring your own OAuth client for each). Full SAML SSO is not available yet.
- Can I use my own AI provider? — Yes. AI features are optional: you bring your own API key, so usage cost stays with your provider and under your control.
- How does hosted billing and cancellation work? — Hosted plans are available monthly or annually, billed monthly. You can cancel from the customer portal; access continues through the end of your current billing period under our subscription terms.
- Where can I report a bug? — In the app, open your profile menu and choose Report a bug or Suggest a feature. You can also open a GitHub Issue for the open-source project. For a hosted instance or billing problem, email [email protected] or use the contact form.
- Do you offer enterprise or custom plans? — Tell us about your team size and requirements via Contact. We’ll follow up with options that fit.
